Old Pain (Altschmerz) is a track from Project BWQ’s debut album American Ghost, which was released only a few days ago. It’s an interesting project, with experimentation clearly being very important to the band.

The music they make is like a mixture between metal and alternative rock, with elements of bands such as Muse and Radiohead vying for attention with harder elements. Whilst we feel Project BWQ haven’t quite found their sound yet, this track is a great indication of things to come and of the direction they’re heading in in the future.
