Baerd (yes, we have spelt that right) is the current project from singer-songwriter Isaiah Beard, with Mole Hills being the latest track to be released by the folk musician.

Mole Hills mixes folk sensibilities with elements of indie and pop-rock, with a sense of harsh melody present throughout the track that might appeal to those into the harder genres. Baerd released an album last year titled Crete, which he stated was about helping himself and his listeners connect honestly with their feelings. After listening to Mole Hills, this thought process seems fairly obvious, with an immense honesty and passion to be found within the track.
