In The Morning is a soulful pop track, and Bell’s mournful vocals are stunningly beautiful, especially when mixed with the wonderful instrumentation provided here, with a bit of help from a harp, guitar, and a string section. The lyrics may be simple, but it is the lush musical background that really shines here – we dare you to listen to this and not feel moved.
