The title of Ad Hocs latest track Ghosts is perfectly adequate, with a desolate and menacing feel portrayed throughout the track that surrounds the listener until it takes them over.

The video is also suitably spooky, and it’s fairly obvious what Ad Hocs are trying to do here, but it all works surprisingly well for a band so focused on a theme. The music itself is an indie rock song with hints of harder bands and psychedelia present throughout, and there’s something wonderful dark about the chord progressions used that we love.
