Safe Suburban Home is a brand new record label based in York releasing 7″ singles for up and coming artists. This is the first SSH night and is the single launch for the first label signing The Velts.

THE VELTS:

The Velts are a psychedelic post punk band hailing from Malta. The band have evolved into an energetic live act combining 80’s pop with guitar driven indie. After a set of successful European tours the band have recently signed to Safe Suburban Home Records to release a 7” single Rollercoaster.

TAX:

A cross between Parquet Courts and The Libertines with a huge dollop of garage rock over the top. Featuring superb 2 minute fuzzed up pop tunes, they come highly recommended!

HONOURS:

This lot are taking the York scene by storm in 2018. Massive indie tunes all round and after releasing the absolutely huge sounding Freedom earlier in year, one not to be missed.

GLASS TRAPS:

Becoming regulars all around the York scene this year, we’re looking forward to have Glass Traps open up the evening. A nice combination of alternative rock and post-punk.
