Mr Marcaille, Matt Baker Countryphile, ZoZo, Petrol Hoers – The Fulford Arms

A festival of all things unusual! Death metal cello-ing, trashy folk rock, a very wild band, and a performing horse.

Musique bizarre toute la nuit!

Mr Marcaille is a cello player with a difference. A cello player that kicks the living hell out of two kick drums, whilst blasting his cello through distorted amps. In a thrash metal style. Yep. You read that right. This bonkers frenchman plays at festivals all over the world, and we are nicking him for a cheeky show, after the dust of Boomtown has settled. Get a load of this:

Matt Baker Counryfile is a country/folk explosion from York and contains members of the infamous Pat Butcher. They don’t have anything online, but that’s not surprising, as they only have 1 gig under their collective belts! We wanted something out of the ordinary for this gig, and these guys are just that!

Speaking of out of the ordinary, we are welcoming ZoZo back to York for this show! This band is something else. Creative, unrestrained, limitless musical outpourings. Come and get a slice of that hot steaming pie!

Petrol Hoers will be opening up the night, with some white hot dressage from York’s only performing ex-racehorse. No oddball lineup is complete without this randy horse. He will do your gig proud. Always.

Tuesday 14th August at The Fulford Arms, 7:30pm
