Illustrator turned singer-songwriter Murphykid has released a new track called The Underground, with the song being a haunting folk track that features a beautiful acoustic melody.
By Jane Howkins
The track was actually written back in 2004, but it doesn’t sound dated in any way. Lush soundscapes accompany Murphykid’s soft vocals, with the lyrics telling a tale of heartbreak and longing. It’s very beautiful indeed, and the video is also highly worth watching, due to how unique it is.
