Here’s some reet good rockin’ country on a Sunday night that’ll knock your socks off.
Matt Baker Countryphile. Hot off the success of their first gig with live mics, there was only one option for the final slot at this gig. Expect tales of woe about Tesco, a searing punk rock branding on a country genre, and some fine n’dandy banjo playing.
Howlin Bones are heading back down to their Nottingham homelands and are stopping off in York to blast out a swift set of trashy rockabilly boogie. A three-piece led by a maniac preacher. You ain’t seen nothing like this. Son.
Stan Smith. The brains and driving force behind Mullholland is going to enlighten us with some wholesome country hits. Come and witness this York hero, as he whacks out some colossal classy country, just for your pretty little ears.
