Weirds announce farewell show in Leeds

It’s a sad day for the Leeds music scene and psych-rock community as Alcopop! Records signings and local heroes Weirds have decided to call it a day.

Announcing the news via their official Facebook page, the band—who released “one of the best British debut albums of 2017” according to Kerrang! Magazine—are signing off with one last special show at The Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on 1st November 2018, with support from Vulgarians, Cattle, Curb and Pulled Apart By Horses, and a DJ set from BBC Introducing’s Emily Pilbeam.

As a final parting gift, the band have shared a new single along with a video for their epic, brooding psych anthem Supersymmetry. The single is out now via all good digital service providers.
