Dorrigo is a recently released song from David Benedict’s upcoming sophomore album The Golden Angle, which is set to a progressive body of work containing entirely instrumental music.
By Jane Howkins
Dorrigo is a folky, jazzy tune that makes full use of a mandolin and a violin to wonderful effect, sounding like just the sort of song that would go down well perfectly at a barn dance. However, it also seems to have a British traditional style to it as well, and Benedict’s personality can be heard brilliantly through the song. Check it out below and see what you think – we reckon it’s great!
