Exciting new platform for original performers in York

Blueskies is at it again!

It’s tough to get an audience, get heard and get your music out there, let alone be ‘noticed’, well here’s a novel attempt. Blueskies has set up three gigs, on three consecutive nights with the SAME bands! Sounds bonkers?

We asked Graham Blueskies why? Surely no one is going to buy tickets to three consecutive nights to hear the same music?

He responded with.
‘I’ve seen people go to a covers festival for three days and listen to a dozen versions of their ‘favourite’ songs, but no, you’re right, and that is not my thinking. I’d say who travels? No one needs to walk more than 100 meters in York to find great music, so I decided I’d take the music to them. I’ve selected locations that are not too close together and the purpose is to put the bands in front of different audiences – not the same one.”

Remember November – 15th – 17th – the gigs are as follows:

15th, Victoria Vaults,

16th, Acomb W.M.C.,

17th Clarence Club C.I.U.

Another innovation is that the members of the bands playing get 50% of the £7 ticket price. Blueskies has long been a believer in empowerment and encouragement. Money is important, but that inspires few, creativity and being a part of it inspires all.

Full details on each gig can be found on the Facebook event pages below:

Tickets are also available from all the bands playing.
