The Black Lagoons, The Vagoos, Gogo Loco, Nauseous Skies – The Fulford Arms

We’ve got an excellent night of trashy rock planned here!

The Black Lagoons. If you don’t know who they are, you obviously don’t like live bands. These guys set the standard for other York musicians to follow. They are made up of two brothers and two best mates. It’s a real dark journey this. Though the furthest reaches of hell and back again. Onwards into the night. Forever.

The Vagoos. All the way from Germany, it’s time to welcome back The Vagoos, with their warped take on 60’s punk. If you like the Pebbles compilations, you are sure to dig this crazy bunch. 4 guys all on the same page, as they rip through a set of blistering garage rock filth. What’s not to like?

Gogo Loco. York debut for these guys. Formerly known as The Mobbs, Gogo Loco is the lovechild of Joe B Humbled and Cheadle. It’s a maraca-smashing garage punk set, with a little bit of Bo Diddly’s swagger thrown in for good measure. They’ve just been over at Funtastic in Spain, and we are pleased as punch to have them here.

Nauseous Skies. The York sensational band consisting of ex members of The Barrettas and Hoogerland. This band is a tour de force when it comes to that massive 90’s britpop sound. They’ve cleverly mixed that genre with the wonders of trashy psych, to make a dreamy version of noisy, wonky pop, that is sure to get you hyped up!
