Manchester Punk Festival announces new line-up

Manchester Punk Festival have just announced their third wave of bands to play at the festival across Easter weekend in April 2019. It’s a multi venue city centre event moving in to it’s 5th year and they have arranged for over 130 bands to grace the stages.

The latest announcement sees the legends in Samiam make their first UK appearance in 8 years whilst celebrating 30 years as a band. Tom May (The Menzingers) is heading over on a solo tour and UK punk veterans Goober Patrol are making their long awaited MPF debut. If that isn’t already enough to get excited about, they have confirmed the incredible Misantropic from Sweden, album of the year contenders The Penske File all the way from Canada and two of the UK’s most exciting bands from the south, Popes Of Chillitown and Muncie Girls. TNSrecords stalwarts The Domestics are also making their 3rd appearance at the event.

All tiers of early bird ticket sold out in minutes and the event is expected to reach capacity as in previous years. This edition sees added space and even more bands than before to go along with their vegan street food, punk cinema, comedy / poetry stages and a plethora of punks from all across the globe. It has an incredible atmosphere and welcomes anyone who wants to enjoy the best live music around.
