Austentatious comes to York Opera House soon

Austentatious is an entirely improvised comedy play, starring a cast of the country’s sharpest comic performers, who conjure up a ‘lost’ Jane Austen novel based on nothing more than a title suggested by the audience. Previous masterpieces include Bath to the Future, We Will Frock You, and Northanger Abba – Every show is completely different.

Fresh from five national tours and multiple sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, this award-winning smash will show you Austen as you’ve never seen her before. Whether you’ve read all of Jane’s works or none of them, this hilarious Regency spectacle is not to be missed!

Austentatious is performed by:

Amy Cooke-Hodgson, Andrew Hunter Murray, Cariad Lloyd, Charlotte Gittins, Daniel Nils Roberts, Graham Dickson, Joseph Morpurgo, and Rachel Parris.

Line-up varies. Each show stars 5-6 members of the cast.

See this at York Opera House on July 20th.
