Green Chilli Roots announce their next gig!

Green Chilli Music Agency are inviting people to join them in the beautiful wood panelled Marriott Room at York Explore on 21st November where they will be presenting a concert featuring Bella Gaffney, Dan Webster & Emily Lawler and Starlight Barking.

2016 Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Award winner, Bella Gaffney, hails from Bradford. She writes folk inspired songs which she performs along with her own original arrangements of traditional pieces. She has played at many folk and music festivals over the last few years, including Celtic Connections, Beverley, HebCelt, ButeFest, Dent, Shrewsbury, Otley, Southwell, BAAFest, & Filey to name just a few.

Dan Webster plays an exciting blend of folk/Americana with more than a dash of country and rock and roll. He is a road-seasoned English singer-songwriter, his music is influenced by the sounds and storytelling traditions of American and British folk music, which he uniquely blends into his own distinct fusion of folk and Americana.

Folk duo Starlight Barking perform a mixture of lively original and traditional tunes and songs. Siblings George Brandon (guitar and vocals) and Holly Brandon (fiddle) have been playing and writing music together for as long as they can remember and have performed at venues and festivals all over the country, including HMS Warrior, Towersey Festival, EdleFest and Thame Town Music Festival and were recently featured on BBC Three Counties Radio.

There will be a cash-only bar at the event. Doors open at 7pm and advance tickets tickets are £12 from https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/green-chilli-music-live-in-libraries-york-tickets-76002452381
