Star City was released by Swedish artist Edvard Hernevik last month, with Hernevik himself describing the song as being a ‘tribute to the glamrock era’.

There is definitely a glamrock influence here, but there’s much more to the track than that, with a beautiful chord sequence and lovely vocal harmonies combining together to make something truly unique sounding. Hernevik manages to experiment and provide something that’s melodic, and for that he should be applauded!
