Trapper Schoepp is an American musician and singer-songwriter that has been making waves in the musical world recently – River Called Disaster is his latest single to be released.

River Called Disaster is a pop-rock song that features a catchy, guitar melody that runs throughout the piece – it really is a catchy song, yet it never sounds too poppy. Lyrically, the track is about getting caught up in destructive desires, with the river in the song being a metaphor for this. I loved the upbeat rhythm that runs through the song, which mixes perfectly with the main bass and guitar melody, and Trapper’s vocals add a certain rock swagger to the track too.
