Rooftop Sailors are a Swiss indie rock band – Liqueur is their latest track to be released to the world.

Rooftop Sailors’ sound is similar to that of the indie rock movement that emerged in the early 2000s, with elements of electro and modern rock music also present. Liqueur is catchy, yet it manages to retain a rock swagger, with the track seeing Rooftop Sailors perfectly combining rock and pop together. The guitar riffs are particularly groovy and really stood out here for me – the lyrics also see the band breaking from traditional gender roles, making for quite an interesting listen overall.
