Timbuktu is the latest release from British indie folk duo Stables, a band we’ve featured here relatively recently.

Timbuktu is another beautiful song by the duo, featuring a mixture of traditional and modern folk styles. The song is very heartfelt, with the soft vocal style suiting the genre of music very well. I particularly enjoyed the banjo and guitar melodies and the percussion was quite unique sounding. I’ve really enjoyed all the tracks I’ve heard by Stables so far so make sure you check them out!
