Empires is the new single from London-based alternative rock quintet The Bigger Picture. A mix of the intimate and the anthemic, it’s a bit of a doozy.

Empires deals with feelings of loss and regret through a track that oozes with ’80s rock swagger. Synths meld with drums and guitars to create something that you can use to exorcise the pain through a good old mosh in your room. The highlight though, is its big, emotive chorus which employs layered vocals to perfection.
The Bigger Picture have a focus on the quality of their playing but its not at an expense of their human elements. Listening to Empires is a must for any fan of emo rock. You can check it out below.
