Artist Peter Schoenecker’s painting has drawn inspiration from the textures and lighting on the landscapes and seascapes of this area of Yorkshire. His work includes a wide variety of mediums from watercolour, acrylics, inks, and computer-generated art, often combining more than one medium. By using multilayers, new landscapes reveal themselves having the same mood as the original, but which are more abstract and with a life of their own.

He currently has an exhibition on at Pocklington Arts Centre, which will run until February 19th.
