Hailing from Munich, Germany, De Antiquis Et Novis is an experimental electronic act whose lush new piece Afterglow caught my ear.

Afterglow is an ethereal and cinematic piece which simultaneously invokes an otherworldly landscape while still feeling distinctly down to earth. Like being on a beach in the South Pacific at night, looking at the stars overhead, it feels both relaxing and full of wonder. All the while delicate vocalisations give a human touch.
The man behind De Antiquis Et Novis is Matthias Schorer, the composer, producer and engineer. In Afterglow heβs teamed up with pianist Thomas Stroeter. You can take a listen to track below.
