On Saturday 14th May the second concert in the Noisy Villages series arrives at Hutton le Hole Village Hall. Designed to bring up and coming Yorkshire bands to rural venues around Ryedale, each gig features different performers and a wide variety of musical styles. They offer local people the chance to experience great live music within their community, in a relaxed atmosphere that is welcoming for all ages.
Noisy Villages #2 features performances from:
Tsarzi, an eccentric artist who creates fun, wonky and theatrical songs about home décor, cryptic crosswords, and bad indie movies. Dubbed ‘The Brechtian Kate Bush’, expect a unique cabaret pop performance.
The Twisty Turns play delightful original music influenced by the old sounds of country, blues and bluegrass. This trio of accomplished musicians are based in Old Malton and bring their own vibrant twist to country music. With a tight rhythm section, magical fiddle lines and rich vocals The Twisty Turns will put the fire in your hearth and the rum in your punch!
“Whilst visiting Hutton-le-Hole last year we peered into the window of the lovely village hall and thought that it would be a great place to play our music” said Jenny Trilsbach, the band’s singer and bassist. “We love the idea of Noisy Villages as it encourages everyone to come together in a great atmosphere and spirit. We are really looking forward to coming to play”
Tickets for Noisy Village #1 are available here www.ticketsource.co.uk/noisyvillages priced at £7 / £4 for under 18’s. All ages are welcome but please note that under-16s need to be accompanied by an adult. Come along and discover your new favourite band!
