German band Stray Colors are quite a unique proposition, mixing together elements of Balkan music with indie and folk music to make something that sounds simply sublime.

The Ancient Garden reminded me a lot of the 60s folk music that is currently having a resurgence of sorts, especially in terms of the lovely acoustic guitar melodies and the vocal harmonies, which follow an almost baroque rhythm. The song sounds really beautiful and the vocals demand to be heard!
