Presley Duyck is a folk singer songwriter who Jane first discovered for us at the end of last year through her track Juliet. Now she’s back on the blog and it’s my turn to run the rule over her new track My Someone.

My Someone opens with a cinematic, emotive arrangement that grabs you straight away. But what I found held my attention most were Presley’s storytelling lyrics, rich in poetry and detail, delivered through her charismatic vocals. As the track progresses, its sense of drama grows, with marching drums, echoing acoustic guitar and licks of electric guitar. It’s lovely stuff.

I’m not the only one enamoured by Presley’s song writing and I can foresee a bright future her. I hope you’ll agree. You can check out My Someone below.
