The Pink Nostalgia, real name Joseph James, has featured once before on our blog through his beautifully ambient track Radio Silence. Now he’s back with a new, emotionally-charged one. It’s called Flowers.
By Graeme Smith
Compared to Radio Silence, Flowers has a bit more of a rock pop groove about it. Lively percussion combines with keys and electric guitar in an arrangement that will get you nodding along. What hasn’t changed is Joseph’s soulful vocals and his ability to infuse every note with a sense of humanity and emotion.
The Pink Nostalgia is for fans of The 1975, Christine and the Queens and ’80s new romantics. You can check out Flowers below.
