Young Guns sees Salarymen taking an impassioned look at the ongoing gun violence crisis in Australia, giving the song some poignancy.

Despite the dark subject matter, the track is an indie pop song with a bouncy rhythm, seeing 80s style synths weave their way in and out of the track. I love how the band use both male and female vocals at differing intervals, combining together in harmonious style on the chorus.
