L’Obsession is a new release from French composer and musician Louis Fontaine, making for a cool jazz song with a sense of attitude unrivalled in the genre.

As well as the jazz elements, I also felt there were moments of classical, cinematic and swing music, although the jazz genre is the one most commonly used on L’Obsession. It’s an instrumental piece of music, with a cool bass melody that underpins the track, with the eerie piano lines creeping through the song, acting as the main melody. The percussion is used to great effect too!
