Loss (And I) sounds haunting from the off, with multiple layers of fingerpicked acoustic guitars playing over each other, having a traditional 60s folk sound. Matthew’s vocals are quite soft, sounding incredibly heartfelt and emotive throughout, with his lyrics having a poetic quality to them. It’s a stunningly beautiful song and one that you need to hear!
