British indie rockers The Silver Lines bring a suitably dark twang to the genre with their new release, Hotel Room.

Hotel Room also has elements of punk and alt rock, but it’s still definitely an indie rock song over anything else. The lyrics are really interesting, telling a dark tale about learnt behaviours from past generations and toxic masculinity, suiting the mood of the music perfectly. The chorus is intense, increasing the tempo and urgency of the song, fitting the lyrics well. You can find the track here:
