Julie is a modern country song, complete with acoustic melodies and the odd slide guitar. David has a great voice, full of passion – particularly so on the chorus. It’s a catchy song, with the upbeat rhythm working its way inside your head straight away. The violins add a nice folky quality to the tune, alongside the typical country/Americana vibes.
