Free is a folky song with a dark energy, due in part to the eerie fingerpicked acoustic guitar melodies that provide so much character to the piece. Other elements include the occasional piano trickling, as well as some intriguing backing effects, making the music sound even more atmospheric. Jordan’s soft vocals drift over the music, making it sound particularly spectacular.
