Thabo Courtney is a Miami, USA-based R&B singer who originally released his single April 23 last year. After its release, singer, emcee and producer Midnite Michael said he wanted to do something with it. This remix, dubbed The Proposal Remix, aka August 13 is the result.

The couple in the video are Midnite and his now fiancée Rikari Hall and, fair warning, the video is a real tearjerker. Thabo’s song is perfect for the moment, smooth, romantic and full of heart, and his performance captures it all. Midnite brings his own flair to the remix too, and the pair work well together.
