Alléemaze is a really unique song, featuring elements of pop, indie, folk and jazz music. The vocal effects add a certain atmosphere to the piece – I’m not normally a fan of autotune, but it’s used perfectly here. The verses have a slow, folky quality, whereas the chorus adds a hip-hop style percussive beat, bringing the tempo up again. It all makes for something very distinctive sounding!
