Acclaimed American indie-folk outfit My Politic are about to release their tenth album, Missouri Folklore: Songs & Stories From Home in December.

Buzzards On A Powerline has made me very excited to hear the album – it’s an old school folk song that also has elements of Americana and country music, sounding hauntingly beautiful throughout. The track is quite subtle at times, with slow, fingerpicked guitar melodies providing a great deal of character to this tune. The vocals suit the style of music well, with the slide guitar adding more of a country twang. Make sure you check out the album if you like this!
