I recently completed a round-up review based around r&b music, with Swedish artist Enoka being a part of the review. Her song, Do It All 4 Me, really struck me, and I wanted to find out a little more! You can see how we got on below.

You recently released a single titled Do It All 4 Me. What can you tell us about the track?
The track is about me running the ship. I feel that in rap, hip hop and r&b, the songs are a lot about men taking control. Right now, we are in a world where women claim the right to do just the same, so that’s what I’m doing.
If you want to get in with me, it’s by my rules.
I’m also a sucker for the 90s r&b sound and I love how Oak Sand Music with Christoffer Sandberg and Fredrik Ekelund really hit it off with the track and embraced all that, but by still adding a modern touch.
How has the reception to Do It All 4 Me been so far, and where can the song be purchased?
It has been overwhelming. I’m very happy, since I have a big passion for r&b and this is my second song in this genre. The song can be purchased on all digital platforms out there. Stream away.
Do you plan to release any more singles in the near future?
Yes, fingers crossed that my next release will be with two gentlemen who I recently worked with in Sweden at a writing camp at Roastinghouse in Malmö – John Keerfot and James Stordy.
They are from the UK and are such amazing humans, producers and musicians, and I’m so blessed that I got a chance to write with them. Can’t wait to show you all. It’s an upbeat, electric song that will get you up on the floor.
My second release next year and my 10th single will be with Robin Jowi Andersson – the producer of I’m Alive, Running Hills and The Woman In Me.
He’s one of my best friends and we are just the same, both in music and friends, so I am grateful for him.
Did the pandemic hinder your work much?
In the beginning of the pandemic, all my gigs were cancelled and the whole world got cancelled, so you just had to go with the flow – it was sad, but there was nothing I could do.
In the middle of the pandemic, I started to write songs with Robin and Tomas Cederholm. We won a big competition here in Sweden with my song I’m Alive and after that, I have just continued to record. I have never been busier, from that time until now. I can’t stop now, this is my dream and I’m in it, living it and won’t stop until I’ve reached the top.
Your music contains elements of pop and r&b. What/who influences you most as an artist? What have you been listening to recently?
I’m a mixed girl in music, I just like my music. I love Brandy, Beyonce – both from 1999 and Say My Name to now and Cuff It. Rihanna and her electric thing, also Ava Max. I’m all into Becky Hill, she’s such an amazing singer and her songs makes me want to move and never stop.
Do you plan to release an EP or an album anytime soon
I would love to do an EP, it would be a dream. But I have to flirt with a lot of producers first haha… Maybe one day. I am a dreamer.
You’re from Sweden. What is the music scene like in your part of the world?
There is a big music scene in Sweden, but it’s hard to get in there. I’m getting there, and I’m working really hard for it with my label, Yellow Rhinestone Records, and Roland Billberg. I’m a fighter and 2022 has been a good year with my music being performed on radios all over the world – I’ve also had good gigs on good stages, but I want more.
Do you have any tour dates lined up for the UK?
Nothing lined up in UK now at this time, can you hook a girl up?! I was in London this summer – performing outside of Wembley Park and at Boxpark – it was unreal and so much fun. London is so much more in every way and the audience is amazing – more daring and a whole other vibe over there.
What can people expect from an Enoka show and why do you think people should come and see you live?
I have teamed up with a dance crew, lldancestudio and the owner Lina Larsson. She is an amazing dancer and when I’m out playing gigss I have her and her crew with me. You can see some of them in my video for Do It All 4 Me. I will also team up with some live musicians, which will make the whole performance feel so much more alive.
I’m a good live singer, I have been doing backing vocals for artists for years, so I’m a voice you can count on. With all of this, I will give you a hell of a show, I promise you that.
Any last words for the fans?
Without my fans I’m nothing, without the support there is no me. They mean the world to me and their love gives me the energy to continue. I send all my love to all of you out there.
