We first featured Swedish singer-songwriter and musician Ellen Krauss here way back in 2020, so it’s great to finally hear new music from her!

Tie Me Down is a stripped-down indie-folk song, very much in the vein of Phoebe Bridgers’ more upbeat work. A flowing acoustic guitar melody runs through the piece, drifting across the music in a lovely fashion. Ellen has a wonderfully emotive voice, rising from a lower tone to some fabulous high notes on the chorus. The guitar stays pretty much the same for the chorus, but the higher vocals lend themselves to the music well, making it sound very beautiful.
