Scream is probably best described as being an alt-pop song, but it also has some dreamy qualities – especially with the gorgeous synth chords played in the background. A groovy acoustic melody runs through the track, aligning well with the percussion. Hazel’s vocals have a deep quality that extends well beyond her years, containing a wealth of emotion.
