One of the things I love about modern music is how folk music seems to have come more into the mainstream of late, leading to amazing tracks like Above the Clouds.

Sunriver have created something of wonder here, with Above the Clouds being one of my favourite songs of the year so far! It’s a modern folk classic, adding a catchy pop vibe to the genre. The main chord sequence is addictive – I just can’t stop listening to it! The male and female vocals harmonise perfectly together, whilst also singing their own separate movements. It’s a really beautiful sounding song, particularly when it slows down towards the end, so make sure you check it out!
