I first discovered musical project illunis back in September of this year – now they’re back with this astounding cover of the Jungle Book song!

I Wanna Be Like You should need no introduction, as it’s one of the most famous songs in the world. However, illunis has added their own unique flavour to the tune, making it stand out! It still sounds jazzy, but the guitars add a spaghetti western style/ska vibe to proceedings, making it sound very unique. The verses have a really cool atmosphere, before the chorus explodes with energy – it’s not too different as to put people off, but it’s unique enough to stand out as a cover!
