Straight White Teeth is the alternative music project of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Patrick McGuire – Forever and a Day sees him expanding his sound somewhat.

Forever and a Day is still a stripped-down folk song, despite Patrick adding a full band to his music this year. The rest of the instrumentation is provided in a subtle way, emphasising the folky vibes well. Little piano lines can be heard in the background, adding another lovely element to this perfect tune. The fingerpicked guitar style flows in a gorgeous way, segueing into the beautiful chorus as Patrick’s soft vocals sing in a most heartfelt manner.
