James Blonde are a Canadian indie rock band that we’ve featured before, back with a new song inspired by the pandemic.

Back to Life is lyrically about the lockdowns ending, which very much brought the world back to life! It’s also an infectiously catchy song – the synths and guitars work really well together, making it all sound positively infectious. The thing that really struck me about this track was the way the vocals are used in a harmonious way on the chorus, repeating the titular refrain over and over again. James Blonde really are an amazing band!
