American singer-songwriter and musician Atomic Blonde is a fairly new discovery of mine – after reviewing her music back in August, I’ve been keeping an ear out for her new stuff!

Kansas City Sunset is a stripped-down piano-based song, although there is some minor percussion thrown in for good measure occasionally. The quiet nature of the tune allows the vocals to shine through in all their glory, adding an extra sense of beauty to this amazing piece of music.
