I’m a big fan of the Americana scene, so I was very intrigued when I first heard American singer-songwriter and musician Tim McGeary’s music.

Wounded man is a rock song of sorts, also featuring elements of Americana, country, folk and the blues. The verses have that typical folksy sound we’ve all come to love from the genre, with the chorus elevating things to a slightly heavier level. Tim’s vocals suit the style of song well, having a classic country twang with a soulful edge. I particularly enjoyed the bluesy guitar licks, showing just how skilled Tim is at his guitar playing.
