Indigo Starrcar is a Michigan-based band formed from the brainchild of Scott Posada and Bryce Gray, bringing their indie-pop stylings to the world.

What really struck me about 9 Years on the first listen is how much it harks back to the 80s, whilst also keeping a modern pop sensibility. It’s really catchy, yet the bass and synths add more of a clarity to the music, sounding much better than a lot of the other pop music out there at the moment. It’s great to hear an actual band performing music of this genre, giving a slightly more organic quality to the track, which is something I loved. Check out how catchy it is here:
