Norwegian musician and singer-songwriter Stian Aamodt is a fantastic new discovery of mine, producing beautiful modern folk songs.

Without You is a subtle and stripped-down track with a minimalist quality, but this only serves to make the whole thing sound even more beautiful as a whole. A slow piano melody drifts through the track underneath the vocals, which are filled to the brim with emotion throughout. The quiet tempo of the tune really allows the beauty to unfold, breaking your heart on every listen. Stian is an extremely talented musician and one you really ought to check out!
