I’ve been hearing a lot of classical music recently, but Virginio Aiello really stands head and shoulders above his peers.

This Italian composer and pianist certainly has a way with his fingers, creating evocative pieces of music that stir up distant memories in the soul. Sunrise of a new day is performed entirely on one piano, although Virginio’s fingers move so fast that it sounds like there are several instruments being played at once! The left hand plays a driving rhythm of sorts, with the right hand playing a motif on the theme. It’s a really outstanding piece of classical music.
