Camden rockers The Graft released a new single back in November, titled It’s Too Late & It’s Ok. The single release actually features two songs – the title track and another song called Don’t Mean Much, bringing you into the band’s amazing world in style. I managed to get hold of the single and really enjoyed it, so I decided to do a review!

It’s Too Late & It’s Ok is obviously the first song, starting out with an amazing riff. The music has something of an indie rock vibe, although it’s a little heavier than you might expect from the genre. The vocals have an interesting tone, following the main verse melody well. The choruses are a little heavier than the verses, making for quite a nice change of pace. The rhythm is also rather frantic at times, drawing you into The Graft’s world within an instant.
Don’t Mean Much is a little mellower in terms of sound, opening with a grungy yet clean guitar melody. It’s actually really catchy, getting stuck in your head straight away! The production quality is a little raw, but it works really well with the mix of punk, indie, grunge and rock that the band have. Their London accent bleeds through on the vocals, but it adds a really cool sound to the music.
The Graft are an amazing London band set to take the world by storm with their own brand of punky indie rock. Both tracks on the single sound epic, so you really ought to check them out!
