We’ve featured German musician Katie Drives a few times recently, so I jumped at the chance to share her new single Next To You with the world!

Next To You is another slice of pop-rock goodness, with an added edge of pop-punk also thrown into the mix for good measure. The dynamics change between the verses and choruses, with the latter having a much heavier sound, full of energy. The guitar melodies on the verses sound great, with a mellower guitar line heard underneath the palm-muted chugging. Katie’s vocals are amazing as always, sounding extremely heartfelt here.
