It’s quite rare that we get to listen to music from Russia, so I was very excited to discover Vladislav Kurnikov’s own brand of lo-fi beats!

Saturday Morning is a track that belongs to the study beat genre – it’s an instrumental piece of music with a hidden beauty to it. A haunting keyboard melody drifts through the music in an effortless fashion, as the up-tempo beat pulls the tune along. Backing vocals are added occasionally but they have more of a rhythmic quality, working well with the rest of the music.
